Features include up to 3,000 charging cycles, fast recharging time, much longer driving range, and much less weight than lead-acid batteries. A lithium battery also lasts many more years than a lead-acid battery system, some able to go for approximately 10 years without needing to be replaced – lead-acid batteries typically need to be replaced every 1 to 2 years.
